An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join the Protection and Annuity finance team and contribute to the business performance monitoring of this very successful division.

1.                   Through active participation in the business, ensure the integrity of inputs into the key financial management information for inclusion in Group and Internal Boards, and coordinate production of the packs for review by the Finance Manager, Business Reporting.

2.                   Using professional skills and judgement;

1. Proactively develop new reports that highlight to senior management progress against KPIs / metrics and recommend areas and actions for improvement.
2. Produce analysis and trend reports for senior manager meetings within the Risk Division to aid decision making and strategic planning.

3.                   Work with colleagues in business and finance to further develop and reconcile MI sources and contribute to systems improvement initiatives.

4.                   Calculate payments due under sales incentive schemes within the Division and ensure these are appropriately authorised and passed to payroll on due dates.

5.                   Assist the Finance Manager, Business Reporting as required, with additional regular or ad-hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with relevant experience in both the Life Assurance Industry and in the provision of high quality management information.
